Radiance & Beauty

Radiance & Beauty is a small start-up business based in London, UK. The brief was to create two logos: A main logo and a boxed and abbreviated logo that would be used for Instagram.

The client requested both logos to be minimalist. However, she wanted one of the logos to have a powder effect. Target audience are females who are interested in getting make-up done and other beauty services.

For the main logo, I chose Montag font as it looks modern. The photographic technique, double exposure, was used to demonstrate the purpose of the business - make-up and beauty.

For the Instagram logo, I combined two fonts: Mongolian Baiti and Canto. This is to give a minimalist and a professional feel to the business. After liaising with the client, I suggested that instead of powder, the boxed logo would be effective if it had a metallic, rose gold finish - like the image shown below. Both logos done in Adobe Illustrator.
